The first place trophy from the competition last year is currently looming over me at my desk in all its starry sparklyness. I fear that if I don’t bring it home a sibling tomorrow, it will take one of its sharp star-edges and poke me in the eye. Or I’ll just do it myself. I’ve never wanted to win so badly before.
